Personal Cybersecurity: How to Protect Your Information on the Internet and Social Media CTC41 

We hear more and more about cybersecurity and the risks of identity theft these days. Learn ways to protect yourself and your family’s data, so you can use social media websites like Facebook and Twitter without giving up your privacy. You’ll learn how to minimize exposing your personal information on the Internet and how to control privacy and tracking of your smartphone. You’ll also find out how you may be vulnerable to online fraud, identity theft, or extortion (“ransomware”), best practices to avoid becoming a victim, and what to do if your computer, tablet or smartphone is hacked, infected by malware or if you fall prey to the most common Internet scams.
