History Happy Hour: Medieval Recipes (Zoom)    NEW!

What did medieval people eat? How did they prepare and share food making? From the simple peasant diets to the ostentatious courtly fare, meals were central to medieval acts of community building and celebration. Even without Thanksgiving turkeys, tradition as well as innovation were central to the experience. Join us as we explore the surviving recipe collections and images of medieval consumption.

Please be sure to register by the day before the class at the latest. You will receive an invitation email with a link to join the Zoom meeting.
