The New Manhattan West and the Development of Hudson Yards (Zoom)

What was once an open train yard for the original Penn Station has completely transformed into one of Manhattan’s newest and most expensive development projects in New York City’s history at a cost of $25 billion! And that’s for Phase 1! Learn how the city decked over an early 20th-century train yard, melding the old with the new, like the highest observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, and the state-of-the-art flexible performance venue built with six-foot-high wheels that glide on rails, and the Vessel. See ideas of what’s proposed for Phase 2.

Please be sure to register by the day before the class at the latest. You will receive an invitation email with a link to join the Zoom meeting.
