Mindfulness Journey: Self-Awareness, Compassion, and Resilience

This four-session class provides a safe, supportive space for personal growth and meaningful connection and will guide students to nurture self-awareness, compassion, and resilience. Each session will begin with a welcoming circle fostering openness and connection and will provide tools to manage stress, embrace growth, and deepen self-awareness. We will also delve into what mindfulness is and its benefits for daily life and work. Throughout the course, we will explore mindfulness through eleven “attitudes”: curiosity, kindness, gratitude and generosity, acceptance, non-judgment, non-striving, letting go and letting be, patience, humor, trust, and a beginner’s mind. By the end of the series, you will have gained practical mindfulness tools and a stronger connection to yourself and others. If not now, when? Join us and take the next step on your mindfulness journey.

Session Structure:

  • 10-Minute Theme Introduction: Explore one or two attitudes and their practical relevance.
  • 15-Minute Guided Meditation: Calming and energizing practices tailored to the session’s theme.
  • 30-Minute Sharing & Exploration: Reflect on the meditation and discuss applying mindfulness in daily life.
  • 5-Minute Wrap-Up: Takeaways and a focus for the week ahead.
