Finding Your Family in Online Newspapers, One Character at a Time    NEW!

Newspapers can provide a wealth of information to help you fill in gaps in your family history research. This presentation will explain how to find what you're missing in your searches of online newspapers. Find out why you missed the items you missed from someone who has found thousands of elusive items for her family, her students' families, and her clients' families through a search methodology that can help anyone (you!) find and preserve family items from online newspapers. You'll learn what fee and free online newspaper resources are available, see the interfaces for those sites, and be ready to strike out on your own.
Please be sure to register by the day before the class at the latest. You will receive an invitation email with a link to join the Zoom meeting. Click here for a tutorial on how to join a Zoom meeting.
