In this hands-on class, we will make hand pies — mini pies that fit perfectly into your hand. These are excellent mini desserts and great to take on the go. First, you'll learn techniques to create a flaky, buttery pie crust that can be used for hand pies, as well as for pies, tarts, empanadas, and even cookies. You'll also learn how to roll the dough and crimp edges, and then you’ll make three varieties of hand pies: pumpkin, chocolate, and apple caramel. We will taste test in class, and the leftovers go home!
