Geode cakes may look intimidating, but we will walk you through the simple steps to make this showstopper cake. You will assemble and frost pre-made cake layers, design your cake with sugar crystals, then paint your crystals to resemble an actual geode. As a bonus, you will use leftover cake to create 1-2 cake pops. Each student will take home their own 2-layer 6-inch yellow cake frosted with vanilla swiss meringue buttercream, plus the chocolate-covered cake pops, all of which will be sure to impress family and friends!
