Robin Hood Tales (HYBRID)    NEW!

From the carefree Disney fox to Kevin Costner’s tortured ex-crusader, the figure of Robin Hood weaves through history and legend in a variety of forms. What do the earliest depictions of “he who robs the rich” actually show us? Join History Happy Hour instructor Christine Axen in this special in-person presentation to explore how Robin and his band of merry men serve as commentary on royal power, violence, and the great green woods of medieval England.

PLEASE NOTE: These courses are being offered simultaneously in person and over Zoom. A few days prior to the class, registered students will be asked how they are attending, and those who choose the virtual option will receive the Zoom link.
