Play It Again: Write, Act, Create

You know that funny, inspiring or silly story you love to tell? Imagine now that you're taking a page from Seinfeld’s “show about nothing” and bringing your story to life. Learn the basic craft of writing dialogue, developing characters, and detailing the setting (and maybe embellishing just a teeny bit!) and create a short scene ready to be acted out with the help of your peers. In each class we will be writing together with specific prompts, and using some improvisation to explore how to take an idea from page to stage, casting each other as characters in our short scenes. This is a class designed purely for fun and enjoyment. You’ll be surprised how transcendent that little story from your life can be!
