    See what birds over-winter here on the Bronx River. In addition to the locals that stay all year, there are several species that are here only during the winter. You may also see some of the “wintering ducks,” including the hooded merganser, the American black duck, and the green-winged teal duck.

    PLEASE NOTE:

    • Bring binoculars if you have them.
    • The meeting location will be in your confirmation email.
    • Class meets in light rain or shine.
    • In the event of inclement weather, please check your email for cancelation or rescheduling information.
    • This class meets outdoors and will be canceled in the event of heavy rain (sometimes at the last minute). A make-up date will be scheduled as necessary, but we are unable to offer refunds or credit if you are not able to attend a scheduled make-up. Please consider this before registering.
