This walking-based wellness program is designed to instill well-being and strength through nature and fitness. As the name implies, FitWalk's foundation is walking, briskly at times and purposeful. You will use light to medium hand-held weights and focus on functional and strength training intervals to build muscle, better bones, and balance. Each class is different, but all involve hitting all the major muscle groups in a single session. FitWalk classes naturally encourage mindfulness, camaraderie, and positive imaging to support mental and emotional health.
PLEASE NOTE:
Celebrate the beauty of spring with a creative exploration of mixed media. In this class, you'll draw a simple still life featuring June botanicals, then bring it to life by layering it with patterns, painting techniques, and collage. Artists of all levels are welcome.

Using glass-specific paints, each student will customize a pair of 12 oz. wine glasses …perfect to give away as a gift or to keep and enjoy. There will be design instructions including:
The glasses are hand-washable.
In this workshop, you will create a dynamic scene step by step—starting with a loose sketch from reference photos, followed by pen and ink for structure. Then, you'll bring your scene to life with watercolor, refine it by adding tonal values, and finish with expressive ink details and textures.
