On the grounds of the Lake Isle Country Club, it features eight indoor har-tru (green synthetic clay) tennis courts under three state-of-the-art air structures and a 5,000 square-foot clubhouse on two levels with superior viewing.

This class will meet in the indoor winter studio for the first week or two, which has a launch monitor and nets, and then move outside as weather permits.  New golfers can learn how to play the game in a low-stress environment. Experienced golfers can make changes to their game, or just keep it fresh for the season. Our small class size allows us to address every aspect of the game, from rules and etiquette to short games and full swing. These classes are great for meeting others who are interested in improving their game.

This walking-based wellness program is designed to instill well-being and strength through nature and fitness. As the name implies, FitWalk's foundation is walking, briskly at times and purposeful. You will use light to medium hand-held weights and focus on functional and strength training intervals to build muscle, better bones, and balance.  Each class is different, but all involve hitting all the major muscle groups in a single session.  FitWalk classes naturally encourage mindfulness, camaraderie, and positive imaging to support mental and emotional health.

This class meets outdoors and will be canceled in the event of rain (sometimes at the last minute). Make-up dates will be added on as necessary, but we are unable to offer refunds or credit if you are not able to attend a scheduled make-up. Please take this into consideration before registering.

Tai Chi-Qigong is a healing exercise for our body, opening blocked energy channels through proper posture, breath work, and advanced concentration within graceful movement. Through this practice the condition of cells, muscles, bones, and joints are strengthened and revitalized, improving the function of internal organs and intestines.

Tai Chi (TaeGeuk) is the principle of the cosmic energy cycle. When cosmic energy is created and eventually reaches its peak, instead of disappearing, the energy converts into a different type of energy, thereby continuing its lifecycle.

Qigong is the understanding and application of the Tai Chi principle into our lives. We can embrace the cosmic energy cycle and transform ourselves, leading a less self-centered and more altruistic, devoted life.
