They will provide the wreath as well as a variety of ribbons, fruits, feathers, berries, and natural elements and will teach you to curate and assemble your own holiday wreath which you will take home to celebrate the season as well as the holidays.

Get ready for the holiday season by mastering four simple and healthy vegetable side dishes perfect for any gathering. You will learn how to properly prepare and season a variety of vegetables. Additionally, you’ll discover how to use spice, texture, and acid to balance flavors within individual dishes and throughout your entire holiday feast. We also discuss pro tips for advanced planning to make your preparation easier. These mouth-watering vegetable dishes will become the stars of your holiday table.

• Caramelized Sweet Potato Mash with Ginger Miso Chimichurri
• Massaged Kale Salad with Maple Roasted Squash, Pecans, and Apple Cider Vinaigrette
• Creamy Cauliflower Purée with Garlic and Herb Pistou

It’s Marcella’s way of describing a soup that is a little more on the heartier and thicker side. This is a vegetarian and gluten- and dairy-free menu.

In late fall, as the air turns crisp, we will fill journals with the spare and stunning offerings of native tree twigs and their terminal buds, and berries. American beech, tulip poplar, hickory, and maple show a burst of life in the cool months. As if preparing for the holidays, our native trees also give us a show of bright red berries from American holly, mulberry, and red maple. We will learn the art and science of native trees and berries using mark-making in ink and transparent watercolor, creating keepsake journals that last forever. Artists of all skill levels will feel at home in our welcoming setting.

See what birds over-winter here on the Bronx River. In addition to the locals that stay all year, there are several species that are here only during the winter. You may also see some of the “wintering ducks,” including the hooded merganser, the American black duck, and the green-winged teal duck.

Perfect for both enthusiasts and aspiring chefs, this hands-on experience promises to elevate your culinary skills and impress your guests at your next gathering. Join us for an unforgettable journey into the world of charcuterie where tradition meets taste. In this class, you will create a Meat and Cheese Board and a Dessert Board. Each student will leave the class with two boards.
