Learn the basics of French conversation. Each lesson will have a practical theme revolving around essential skills such as self-introductions, discussing hobbies, ordering meals at restaurants, asking for directions, and more. This is great for beginners who want to start speaking French with confidence. No prior French background is necessary.

This course is for students who have some familiarity with the language and can understand and use basic vocabulary and form simple sentences to communicate. We will expand vocabulary and work on grammar to improve verbal skills. This course is a continuation of Beginner French I.

This class is for students who have taken the Beginner Italian class or who have the basic foundation of the language and can speak and write basic sentences.  In class, we'll practice more grammar, listen, and speak. 

If you have a working knowledge of Italian, with a basic understanding of a few verb conjugations and grammar concepts, this is the level for you. This level focuses on increasing vocabulary beyond basic question/answer and short sentences.  We will dive deeper into the grammar and learn more about Italian culture.

This course is for students who have completed the Beginner and Intermediate levels or for those who have a good comprehension of Italian since we don't speak English in class. We'll review and learn advanced grammar topics, along with activities that bring today's Italy closer to our world. We will use simple newspaper articles, short stories, and Italian music together with lively discussions to improve language skills and knowledge of Italian culture.

If you've been in Advanced I or if you have high proficiency in Italian, this is the level for you. We speak no English in class, and we focus on keeping the conversation alive with fewer grammar practices. We read different texts and listen to audio at school and at home so we can talk about them. We also focus on interesting aspects of contemporary Italy, beyond the stereotypes: food, music, travel, and history are part of the program.

This course is designed for students with little to no prior experience with the language. It will focus on foundational aspects such as pronunciation, basic vocabulary, simple sentences, frequently used expressions, and fundamental grammar concepts.

This course is intended for students who have some familiarity with the language and can comprehend everyday phrases and basic sentences. We will expand on vocabulary and grammar to enhance communication and facilitate simple, routine interactions. It builds on the material covered in Spanish: Beginner I and II.

This course is for students who have some previous experience with the language, can use it with relative spontaneity, and possess a reasonably broad vocabulary. The focus will be on enhancing verbal and conversational abilities.

Learn the basics of Mandarin conversation. Each lesson will have a practical theme revolving around essential skills such as self-introductions, discussing hobbies, ordering meals at restaurants, asking for directions and more. This is great for beginners who want to start speaking Mandarin with confidence. We will introduce the pinyin system so that students can learn how to navigate in Asia. No prior Mandarin background is necessary.

Students will focus on the basics of fingerspelling, numbers, colors, vocabulary, facial grammar, and sentence structure. They will also learn about conversational and cultural behaviors to be able to have a beginning-level introductory conversation using ASL.

This course continues the study and practice of skills initiated in the introductory course. It emphasizes developing receptive skills as well as expanding ASL vocabulary and learning more about the Deaf culture. Prerequisite: Introduction to American Sign Language or equivalent.
