Personal Growth & Wellness

Join us for an interactive and dynamic workshop in which participants will be guided in developing and practicing the skills of active listening. Many of us struggle with situations and relationships where we feel not fully understood for our intent, nor heard completely when we express ourselves. Aviva will teach the skills of active listening. Participants will enjoy guided practice exercises in these skills in addition to increasing empathy and validation skills. These skills will be useful and valuable in any interaction and relationship, offering more connection and clarity between partners.

Carefully crafted words can help people resolve distressing memories, limiting beliefs, and emotional blocks in an energy psychology approach known as Logosynthesis. As with most energy methods, the source of calm and equilibrium comes from within, and the practitioner helps the individual discover it.

This method is based on the idea that many of our problems—such as anxiety, fear, or limiting beliefs—are caused by “frozen” energy in our personal space and aims to dissolve these energy blocks, allowing emotional energy to return to an uninterrupted flow. Logosynthesis is suitable for adults open to exploring the connections between mind, body, and spirit, and it fits well alongside other energy psychology methods like self-tapping and mindfulness practices.

Hormonal changes during and after menopause affect your skin in ways that your old routine may no longer address. In this practical, empowering session, you'll learn how to identify common concerns such as dryness, loss of elasticity, uneven texture, sensitivity, and pigmentation, and you'll leave with a step-by-step skincare routine tailored for mature skin. Agnes will decode the ingredients that actually make a difference (exfoliating acids, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, peptides, and vitamins A, C, E, D, and K) so you can shop smarter and stop guessing. You'll also explore how diet, hydration, exercise, and sleep support your skin from the inside out.

Breathwork is an active meditation technique with a two-part inhale and single exhale done consistently for 30 minutes, followed by relaxation and a return to normal breathing.  The technique brings us into a deeper state of consciousness and clears "stuck energy" quite rapidly and safely. Results often include more mental clarity and less anxiety; an easier time connecting with family and friends; the experience of more joy, peace, and spiritual connection; and a boost of intuition and creativity.

During this hands-on Kintsugi-inspired workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn, create, and share. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, highlighting the cracks instead of hiding them–embracing imperfections as part of the object’s history. This philosophy can also serve as a powerful metaphor for personal growth and healing.

Students will learn about this historic art form and how it can apply to each person. They will be guided through a modern approach, wherein they break, paint, and rebuild their own bowl, showing and creating a connection to their journey. Participants will paint their bowls and then highlight the cracks with gold glue making it unique to them. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share collectively or in small groups, conversing about how we have all been challenged in various ways, and how there is strength in the growth of the rebuild. As an art therapist, Tara offers opportunities for connection through art, relating it to self and the healing process of putting our own pieces back together.

Step into the new year with intention and clarity by creating your own vision board collage. This inspiring workshop begins with a gentle guided meditation—accompanied by sound bowls, chimes, and other soothing instruments—to help you connect with your inner wisdom and reflect on your hopes and goals for the year ahead. After centering yourself, you’ll use a variety of fun and inspiring art supplies to bring your vision for 2026 to life. Whether you're focusing on personal growth, relationships, health, or creativity, your collage will become a powerful visual reminder of the direction you want to take. Enjoy herbal tea and a nourishing snack as you create, and share reflections in a warm, supportive community. You'll leave with a beautiful, tangible symbol of your intentions—something to return to throughout the year to focus your energy, stay aligned, and manifest your aspirations. No artistic experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.
