This course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult/child/infant CPR with breaths, adult/child AED use, and mild/severe airway block for all ages. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. This class is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life, but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement.

This workshop will teach students how to avoid being attacked, how to disengage from an attack before things get physical, and how to defend yourself against a couple of the most frequent forms of assault. Students will learn a few basic strikes that, while easy to learn, are extremely effective in creating an opportunity for you to escape from a dangerous or inappropriate situation.
Please note: This workshop is also open to High School students, but they must be accompanied by a registered adult. Each person should register separately.
No special equipment needed; wear workout clothing and sneakers.

 Eating fermented foods may have beneficial health effects, including boosting your digestive and immune systems, warding off inflammation, and increasing antimicrobial proteins that kill off bad bacteria. In this class you will learn how easy it is to ferment vegetables at home and how to do so without the use of vinegar, thereby avoiding its strong taste. We will discuss a variety of fermented foods, such as pickles, kefir, and kombucha, and you will make sauerkraut to take home.
Please bring a bowl and spoon for mixing, a sharp knife, and a cutting board. All other materials are included in the class fee.
