No experience? No problem! In this workshop, you’ll learn to play the harmonica through fun, simple songs that even total beginners can master. We'll focus on rhythm, musicality, and playing together—no music reading required. With live guitar accompaniment to keep us on beat and add extra energy, you'll be making music in no time. 

The Major Arcana Tarot cards represent the life lessons, karmic influences and the big archetypal themes that are influencing your life and your soul’s journey to enlightenment. The Major Arcana cards include 21 numbered cards and 1 unnumbered card (the fool). The fool is the main character of the Major Arcana and makes his journey through each of the cards, meeting new teachers and learning new life lessons along the way, and eventually reaching the completion of his journey with the world card. This workshop is best suited for those who have taken A Fun Evening of Learning Tarot or have other experience with the tarot system.

This class is designed for players who have a basic understanding of the game and are eager to enhance their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Offering a blend of instruction and practice, participants can refine their strategies, learn advanced techniques, and receive real-time feedback from an experienced instructor. Students should have taken Beginner Canasta or have equivalent experience.

Building on their knowledge of the game, students will review the Mah Jongg basics and the current card of hands. We will learn more defensive, strategic steps towards winning the game and/or playing against challenging players, as well as quicker decision-making in ways of choosing hands (which is the most challenging and difficult for most players) and betting options.

Discover how psychic tools can be used to develop, activate and enhance your natural intuition. In this workshop, we will explore and demystify psychic tools including cards, pendulums, crystal balls, candle flames, tea leaves, runes and auras. You will learn how to engage with these powerful aids, experience how they work in fun interactive exercises and receive practical tips for deepening awareness of your own psychic gifts. You will leave this workshop with the ability to apply new skills and be empowered to continue exploration on your own.

Have you learned the Tarot, but are hesitant to read for others? This class will help you interpret several tarot spreads in a relaxed atmosphere and will help you gain the confidence to share this tool with others.

Join the Bronxville Adult School for our inaugural Mah Jongg Tournament! Whether you are a seasoned player or a confident Advanced Beginner looking to test your skills, this evening is designed for enthusiasts who love the thrill of the game and the company of the Mah Jongg community. This is a "friendly" competition focused on skill-building, social connection, and the joy of the tiles. 

To keep the energy high and the games moving, we will follow a structured "round-robin" style format. Players will compete in four rounds of play, encouraging efficient play and quick decision-making. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and play with different partners throughout the evening. 

The event will be facilitated by Grace Smith, co-founder of Moms4Mahj, who will manage the clock and scoring. Please bring your own 2026 Mah Jongg National League Card. Mah Jongg sets and light refreshments will be provided.

In this introduction to Mah Jongg, students will learn the basics of this fun and social game.
