Breathwork is an active meditation technique with a two-part inhale and single exhale done consistently for 30 minutes, followed by relaxation and a return to normal breathing. The technique brings us into a deeper state of consciousness and clears "stuck energy" quite rapidly and safely. Results often include more mental clarity and less anxiety; an easier time connecting with family and friends; the experience of more joy, peace, and spiritual connection; and a boost of intuition and creativity.
If you register for Sound Bath: Complete Chakra Cleanse and Breathwork Healing: How to Free Your Mind Combo, you will receive a 10% discount. Click here to register for the combo.

Tai Chi-Qigong is a healing exercise for our body, opening blocked energy channels through proper posture, breath work, and advanced concentration within graceful movement. Through this practice the condition of cells, muscles, bones, and joints are strengthened and revitalized, improving the function of internal organs and intestines.
Tai Chi (TaeGeuk) is the principle of the cosmic energy cycle. When cosmic energy is created and eventually reaches its peak, instead of disappearing, the energy converts into a different type of energy, thereby continuing its lifecycle.
Qigong is the understanding and application of the Tai Chi principle into our lives. We can embrace the cosmic energy cycle and transform ourselves, leading a less self-centered and more altruistic, devoted life.

We live in a fast-paced and stressful society which is perpetuated and reinforced by social media’s frenetic presence in our lives. Our nervous systems attempt to match this constant state of readiness and alertness but as a result, we often feel depleted and lacking emotional and energetic reserves. We are not designed to remain in this high activation state as often as the world encourages it.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as tapping, offer an easily available method of self-care and self-soothing based on Eastern methods of energy healing. Tapping involves gentle self-administered finger tapping of meridian points along our bodies. It is a non-invasive method of calming the nervous system. Some liken it to “emotional acupuncture” (without the needles).
Aviva will lead an interactive and informative workshop showing participants how to self-administer tapping, teaching about the meridian points, offering some background and history of EFT, and she will provide resource handouts for participants to take home.

In this class, you will learn the value of native plants in our ecosystem, focusing on some specific and popular native flowering plants in our area, some of which can be started from seed as well as bought in a nursery. Participants are welcome to bring names of plants or areas of need they have in their own yards for discussion. We will also discuss handy phone apps that can help you identify unknown plants so you can decide whether to encourage local wildflowers or take out invasive or unwanted species. Informational handouts, book titles and weblinks to follow up on the information discussed during the session will be provided.
Finally, after explaining winter seeding, our planting will begin. Soil, seeds, and various (recycled) containers will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own (used plastic produce containers work well). You will then take home your planted containers with easy follow-up care instructions provided so that come spring, you will enjoy the beautiful flowers.

In this session, students will explore the history and theory of chakras, what chakras are, and how they are used. They will then experience a deeply relaxing guided chakra meditation that invites insight and self-inquiry. Finally, they will tap into their own creativity, creating a fun and playful work of art that sets their intentions for how they want to grow within the chakra framework. Participants will leave feeling refreshed, energized, and restored. No meditation or artistic experience required.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Class fee includes all art materials.
- Students who wish to meditate on the floor should bring a mat. Otherwise, students may meditate in a chair.

During this hands-on Kintsugi-inspired workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn, create, and share. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, highlighting the cracks instead of hiding them–embracing imperfections as part of the object’s history. This philosophy can also serve as a powerful metaphor for personal growth and healing.
Students will learn about this historic art form and how it can apply to each person. They will be guided through a modern approach, wherein they break, paint, and rebuild their own bowl, showing and creating a connection to their journey. Participants will paint their bowls and then highlight the cracks with gold glue making it unique to them. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share collectively or in small groups, conversing about how we have all been challenged in various ways, and how there is strength in the growth of the rebuild. As an art therapist, Tara offers opportunities for connection through art, relating it to self and the healing process of putting our own pieces back together.
PLEASE NOTE: Class fee includes all materials.

Two experts show how you can achieve stunning design while doing your part to restore the wildlife and biodiversity that desperately need our help. With just a few changes, you can have a beautiful yard that is beneficial for your family, neighbors, pets and the planet.
Your Yard, Reimagined The truest sign of a healthy yard is the life it supports: the full range of essential insects, microscopic soil dwellers, wild bees and birds. With this life comes direct benefits to you: carbon captured and stored in your plants, stormwater managed by the roots and soil of your habitat. Bram Gunther will share techniques his firm Plan it Wild uses to integrate native plants into lawns and gardens. Learn to think beyond “mowing & blowing,” reduce pesticides and other harmful practices and, instead, reintroduce native plants. Find out your yard’s Wildr Score™ and come away with a practical tool set to begin restoring nature in your backyard. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s progress.
Perfection Reimagined: Embracing the New Gardening Ethos What makes a garden beautiful? This age-old question is evoking new answers as gardeners everywhere deal with shifting realities, from extreme weather to crashing populations of pollinators and birds. It can be overwhelming. Yet, embracing these challenges can allow us all to be active agents of positive change. Leslie Needham will share her healthy garden practices and design principles, illustrated with images of her many projects, including her own garden – River Hills.
Presentations will be followed by audience Q&A.
