Breathwork is an active meditation technique with a two-part inhale and single exhale done consistently for 30 minutes, followed by relaxation and a return to normal breathing. The technique brings us into a deeper state of consciousness and clears "stuck energy" quite rapidly and safely. Results often include more mental clarity and less anxiety; an easier time connecting with family and friends; the experience of more joy, peace, and spiritual connection; and a boost of intuition and creativity.

There are many approaches to establishing and maintaining emotional and physical wellness. We live in an era where alternative approaches to optimal health and balance are often explored to supplement traditional Western medicine approaches.
This class will offer a brief overview and interactive demonstration of three methods of energy healing. First, you will learn about EFT--Emotional Freedom Techniques (also known as tapping), a gentle self-administered finger tapping of meridian points along our bodies aimed at calming the nervous system. You will also explore the concept of Safe Conversation Dialogue, or active listening, practicing empathy and validation skills which are useful and valuable in any interaction and relationship. Lastly, you will learn the power of words and key phrases to help reduce negativity and let go of limiting beliefs through a method called Logosynthesis.
Participants will learn how incorporating insights and methods from these three approaches can help in a variety of challenging situations ranging from emotional, relational, and physical. All can be practiced independently in our lives outside of the classroom. We will provide easy-to-use resource materials to take home and answer your questions about the common philosophical and practical threads intrinsic to all Energy Psychology approaches.

We live in a fast-paced and stressful society which is perpetuated and reinforced by social media’s frenetic presence in our lives. Our nervous systems attempt to match this constant state of readiness and alertness but as a result, we often feel depleted and lacking emotional and energetic reserves. We are not designed to remain in this high activation state as often as the world encourages it.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as tapping, offer an easily available method of self-care and self-soothing based on Eastern methods of energy healing. Tapping involves gentle self-administered finger tapping of meridian points along our bodies. It is a non-invasive method of calming the nervous system. Some liken it to “ emotional acupuncture” (without the needles).
Aviva will lead an interactive and informative workshop showing participants how to self-administer tapping, teaching about the meridian points, offering some background and history of EFT, and she will provide resource handouts for participants to take home.
