The instructor will provide a photograph for students to work from and reference materials, and he will go step-by-step, breaking things down into simple, learnable skills. You’ll learn how to draw each feature and how to get proportion and likeness right.

 Join BAS for our first Pickleball tournament! Held over the course of 2 evenings, this exciting event will kick off with a round robin format in week 1, where teams will play multiple matches against a variety of opponents. Teams' wins, losses, and scores will determine their standings for week 2: a sweet sixteen bracket.
The tournament will last 1.5 hours each evening. Games will be timed so that all teams begin and end at the same time. There will be a scheduled break for all teams, and light refreshments will be served. Depending on the number of teams that register, participants will either play in every game or may sit out for only one game. We will have four courts in the Blue Gym and four courts in the Main Gym.
When you register for this event, you will be registering for two people (your team). After registration, we will reach out to you to get your partner's contact information as well as your team name. Feel free to be creative!
Please note:
- Good sportsmanship is key to everyone enjoying this event, so while this is a tournament, the spirit is that of friendly competition.
- Players will register as a pair and play together throughout the tournament.
- Players must be familiar with the rules and scoring.
- As this is a tournament, attendance is very important. If you and/or your teammate cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can find a substitute.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS CLOSED. This class is already in session; please contact the office if you would like to register.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Class meets at the Lake Isle Country Club Pro Shop.
- Lake Isle dress code: no jeans, no tee shirts, no open-toed shoes.
- Equipment provided; students are welcome to bring their own equipment if they have it.
- We will hold class in light rain; dress appropriately.
- This class meets outdoors and will be canceled in the event of rain (sometimes at the last minute). Make-up dates will be added on as necessary, but we are unable to offer refunds or credit if you are not able to attend a scheduled make-up. Please take this into consideration before registering.
- If weather does cancel class, you will receive a notification by email; please check your inbox and spam folder before heading out to class. You can also text Kevin at 914-260-9459.
